I have heard other reviews that this was an excellent book, and it is next on my reading list. The title and cover are compelling, but really they are more reflective of the publishing company and editor that the actual author and story. The blood-red ink color is new and adds to the flavor. (The review of the actual story begins at 9:00 minutes.) The murderous dead. Kissing a ghost. Many comments went by too fast for me. The Ghost Hitchhiker does sound like an episode of Supernatural, but I am excited to begin reading this. You will see my review on Awake at Midnight, unless there is a lot of cat-eating. Pets that die are a real book-ender for me.
